fitting double din symphony to single din concert

i have recentley ordered the symphony 2 stereo and aim to fit it where myy concert stereo is. i have also got a double din radio housing and cage. is this all i will need? i know iam going to have to cut at some point to lower the climate control down towards the ashtray. does anyone have any experience of this? or know where there are any detailed diagrams to help with the cutting. much thanks

A very good instalation guide is on the navplu.us website, it explains how to do a single to double din conversion with the view of fitting an RNS-e unit but its the same process you'll need to follow. The guide is found by going into the RNS-e forum, the top sticky is "quick links" if I remember right & somewhere down the bottom of the page in the B6 section is the guide.
