what oil?

Sorry for posting this same question we've seen here time and time again but my Search feature is playing up, aint getting any results so I just wanted to know whats best oil for my 1.8t??

Ive been told Mobile 1 (5W 40), any good???

I have a **** load of Castrol GTX Magnatec 10W-40, would that be suitable???

J7USS mate, whatever you do make sure it is fully synthetic. You don't want your engine going boom again!

Castrol Edge 5W-30 is the reccommended. Sells on Ebay for about £52 delivered for 8 litres - next day delivery too. If you cant find it and need a contact tel number I have one somewhere.

Yeah that would be a nightmare returning to haunt me wouldnt it.
All Sorted, dropped car off this morning, Using 10W-40 Magnatec.
