Will these wheels fit my A4 B6 1.9tdi sport avant

Been offered a set of avus alloys for my a4 2002 1.9tdi sport avant.

8x18" et48.

will these fit my car ?? what profile tyres whould I use?

(I thought the offset should have been ET45, will 3mm make a difference to the handling or cause scuffing?)

standard wheel on car now is 7x16" et42.

hi not sure about the offset diff but you use 235/40/18's some replica budget price options provide 225/40/18's and they do not look as good when fitted. Audi use 235's on there A4's with 18's

I've got 235/45/17 on my tdi sport, don't know if this is the original tyre size but they look good and have never scuffed anything.

the higher the et the more the wheel sits into the arch mine are et 35 which fill the arches nicely
