The 2002 A4 is a B6, not a B5. That's phenominal mpg's you're getting, some people struggle to get that with their 1.9's!

The very great majority of my mileage is motorway at 70 mph typically for two and a half or three hours. Have been very pleased with the economy but the high mileage makes the depreciation unpalatable!

There's a 2003 2.5 TDI quattro with 57k miles on the clock on pistonheads at the moment for £3,300 - seems very cheap!
