I've done it again spent on the bleeding car but to be honest with ya guys im loving this 1 although the other mods i love aswell but this 1 im really liking,i soo wanted to get them in the headlights like the R8 and A5's but was told after much investigating that not possible to pull headlight apart without breaking the buggers,so i went for the next best thing and smacked em in the grills, theres about 40 odd leds in each grill have got em wired up to an independant switch and there water proof.

what do you think good mod or not so good mod?

Don't know if it's just the pictures or not but they look way too bright.?

I know how a lot of people feel about others driving with front fog lights on so I guess if they are as bright as the picture look, then you might meet a little opposition from other drivers.

I like the idea though.

Far too bright bud, use them on the road and you'll get people driving into you cos they're being blinded!

i can understand why you guys think this but i wer standing too close when i took pics and on camera etc it makes em look brighter then they are i shall try n take some pics from a distance head on or perhaps i have to use a genuine camera and not me crappy 3 mb or so fone camera:yes:

Good stuff,

I'll withhold judgment untill we see the better pictures then. :)

As it is, it looks like you'd melt snow with those flame throwers.

Ive been thinking about these - cant see them being road legal which means a tug from plod tho!

I'd like to see what they look like in the daylight :) when they are not used.
Looks good tho - Look forward to seeing the new pics

Look interesting

We need better pics - day and night - to see the real look and also a run through of what you did and how please!!!!

These are taking the Audi world by storm, Ive seen a couple of a4's with these on and I think they look pretty cool. Ive also seen a golf with them stuck on the front headlights on the outside of the glass - desperate measures... but hey if its what you want go for it

Actually that is incorrect, It is possible to seperate the headlight and lense assembly. I saw a post on Audizine where the guy had opened the headlights and fitted the LED at the bottom of the headlight. Looked excellent, just like the S5.

i separated mine to spray the chrome black.

was a real pain

 hmmm, Think ill wait till the proper pics are up before I pass judgement to!!

They do look a little stuck-on and not very OEM for my tastes but each to their own.

These however, I do like:icon_thumright:

they are creeping up and becomming common as from what i hear all new audis will sport these in the headlights not in the grill as the S6 have them there,i was close to purchasing the S6 leds but expense was slightly too much for my liking for this particular mod,

link below of some R32 golfs sporting the S6 leds.

Hi Isaac is this on a b6 or b7 because all the enquiries i made i was told the same it is very difficult to seperate the b6 head lights and if not doen properly lights could break and i defnately wasnt willing to take that chance, but benefit of having them in the grill is that they are fairly easier to change once an led blows rather then headlights where you would have a doddle to strip headlight open just too much hassle for me.

Sorry to Chavy !!!

funny you say that im amongst the sort of owners that likes to keep away from the chavness mods but thought why not go for it after seeing a few other audis and im definately glad i did because in real life they look pretty good.

The pic is a B7 but I really cant see a B6 being radically different. I'm thinking of tackling mine as a summer project.

a mate of mine has facelifted his b6 to a b7 front end including the lights and hes said its easily done on the b7 headlights but the b6 headlights are not that easy to take apart and this is also the same ive got from 2 audi specialists aswell, mate go for it with the leds itl look bang on in the headlights jus a pity i couldnt sort mine out.
