Removal of rear seat base and load cover in an avant

Any of u guys know how to get the rear seat base and load cover/dog guard out of an 04 Avant, im gonna bust it to bits if it keeps on rattling and squeeking.:icon_thumright:

I know how it comes out on the saloon.

You need to stand in the back footwell of each side of the car, one at a time (ok bent over, but you know what I mean). Then grab the seat in the middle at the front and pull upwards, quickly.

The seats in the saloon do not fold upwards, if they do in the avant, then that must be a differnent operation I guess.

For the seat base you just push it towards the back of the car then up, first behind the drivers seat then behind the passenger seat.
The load cover just slides out (drivers side) when you fold the seat backs down, and it's ****** heavy and a total waste of time IMO.

mine required a kick to get it free (the boot cover). weighs a TON
