chipping problems

Could anybody help me on this one;, My DAD has an A4 1.9 TDI (130) remapped a while back to about 170bhp (i think). Recently though there is a sign coming up on the dashboard which say's something about [SIZE=-1]emissions (the sign is in orange, so not to serious). any ideas what this could be????

You need some one with VAG com to take a look and get the fault codes to see whats wrong.
