I take it that it's possible to retrofit the satnav unit RNS-E DVD to a 2001 Y Reg B6 Audi TDI? The latest DVD does indeed have TMC doesn't it?

I saw on ebay a company that a company Autotechnics or something based in Leicester sell it and fit it all for £750.

I have also noticed a few people on here having had it done, where did you get it done and how much?

Cheers Guys

A B6 will take DVD navigation regardless of year.

If you have symphony II then it is relatively easy.

With concert II you have to convert the dash first.

And for TMC you just need the correct disk (jan 2007) M or R revision

Concert stereos are single din you would need to convert the centre console to accept the double din size of the RNS unit. There is plenty on these forums about doing it and the sat nav websites. I recommend lots of research before attempting it!
