Well had a test drive in an Audi A4 3.0 v6 Quattro sport on Friday and just couldn't resist not putting a deposit down!

It has to be in the best colour, red with full Votex kit. Full leather and all the right bits and pieces, full electric windows/mirrors, electric seats, crusie control, climate control , FASH....etc

So show get it at the end of the week. Just can't wait!!:hubbahubba:

Oh it doesn't have parking sensors, but has anyone retro fitted these and how much??

Congrats mate on your new car. Hope you have many hours of pleasurable motoring. Re sensors yeah I agree with J7USS theyre around £200 fitted.

Is that a price fully fitted and colour coded from Audi?

Sorry for delayed response, thats a retrofit price from an audio electronic technician - Ive no idea what dealers charge but at £100.00 per hour labour it could cost you a packet if you got them fitted by a dealer. Your best bet is to pop into your local car audio specialist and they should have few sets to choose from. The sensors themselves come already painted in various colours and I got an exact match (pearl black) when I enquired about sensors for my car. Im just in a dilema in that shall I put them into my existing s-line rear bumper or wait until I get my hands on a vortex bumper. Spoke to dealers yesterday re vortex kit and prices sound quite reasonable i.e. 199 for the rear including mesh and 325 for front, they also offered me 10% discount if I bought full kit so gonna pop over tmrw and see what they can do...

Welcome to the club! Speaking from experience they're awesome cars to drive & turn heads regularly, your gonna love it!!

pav u can get the full votex kit for 600 thats front back and sides

Should have popped down today but rather busy at work well hopefully I should get the vortex kit for around 600 quid just a matter of going down and try to negotiate a good price. Theyre a very friendly bunch of guys down at Audi Parts in Bradford. I'll keep you informed.

I had a Merc which had retro non-merc rear parking sensors fitted and they worked perfectly. The kit is available on ebay for arounf £30 - 40. The kit comes with all fitting instructions and even has a correctly sized drill for the bumper holes. I always wondered how complicated it would be to self fit, but its dead simple as the unti connects to the power supply for the reverse lights, so only gets power when you activate reverse. You can get an audible only unit which goes from beep beep to a solid tone when your close or the full one with a digital display which was what I had in the merc. Im thinkin about fitting it to my newly purchased avant they are listed here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Parking-Reversing-Sensor-4-sensor-audible-Buzzer-LED_W0QQitemZ320170868974QQihZ011QQcategoryZ75330QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
