Weird Acceleration Problem

wonder if anyone can help?

When accelerating on my way to work this morning the car would jerk asthough the engine slowed for a split second. it happens very quickly and feels hesitant.

Any Ideas?

Yes, I've had the same - does it seem to surge?

It's probably one of two things: either it's the MAF sensor going (approx £75) or the N75 valve (approx £45).

Having said that, before you go ordering parts get it VAG com'd for sure.

Mine did it really badly when running SuperPlus, and not at all on standard unleaded.

Yeah bit of a serge, was very intermittent.

I'll see if i can get it put on a vagcom then.

How much is that likley to cost?
