A4 Avant Boot jammed

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that someone here can help me out with a problem my dad's having with his A4. The boot intermittently jams, and you can only get it open to the point where it's open but shut if you see what I mean.

Going to get Vagcom on it this week and see if it turns anything up. Meanwhile I thought I'd get any ideas you guys might have on it.

Car is an 03 plate.

I have the same problem on a 03 plate Avant. Has Vagcom identified anything? My local independent seems to think that the motor may neend replacing. Please let me know if you manage to solve it!
