8700 to next service - Can't be right.

Hi, had a 3rd AVS service at 50k on my 54' A4 TDi Multi Sport at Audi Cov last week. The service reminder has now just populated from blank ---- to show 522 days or 8700 miles.

I thought service intervals were between 10 - 12k? Can anyone shed any light as to why its so short? I do a good mix of town and motorway driving probabaly covering about 14k a year.

That's just the default setting it is showing you. It has to relearn & adapt to the type of driving you do before it will show a more accurate figure.
AVS is a waste of time IMO, it only really works for very few people, and longlife oil in a turbocharged engine is just asking for trouble.
