Does anyone the correct time interval for a cambelt change on a A4 3.0 V6 Quattro Sport..

Mine is a 52' plate 2002 model with 52k on the clock!

Some dealers are saying 80k others are saying 80k or 5 years...

Cheers

Pal

Have just called Audi Tech Support and they say cambelt is due at 80k... Dealers should not be saying 80k or 5 years...

What do you guys think??

AFAIK, VAG are saying a max of 5 years for all cambelts regardless of mileage.

Personally I'd get it done for peace of mind and if you're planning on selling the car it's a plus point to any potential buyer.

Prices ranged from £750.00 to over £1000 from Bexley Audi!

Don't know how they can to that figure!

Thats is complete thievery by the main stealers....they really are taking the p*ss....

Find a good independent ! Should get change out of £300 just for the belt, but for peace of mind get waterpump & tensioners changed at the same time I reckon BUT make ssur ethey use genuine Audi parts not any pattern sh*t...
