emmisions warning light ?????

my emmisions warning light keeps coming on the disapering then comming back, anyone else had this problem

im starting to think it might be the cat.............sounds expensive ?? but what else could it be ??????

It's the engine management light with a bolt of lightening through it, isn't it?

yeah it is the engine managment light but it says emmisions ?????

I'm guessing here but i'd say its the exhaust HEGO sensor (or Lambda Probe)
