Just an FYI thread for anyone searching on info.

John @ Bedrock Veedubs in Motherwell recommended a Jextex panel filter to improve airflow. Decided to give it a bash.

I can certainly say that response seems to have improved, and there is the hint of a deeper engine note, although this isn't loud enough to draw attention; it's really just a little different.

Well worth the money IMHO.

Ive always used ITG panel filters in my other cars, They're pretty good too!!

I dynoed a K&N drop-in filter a while back. Got 0 (zero) hp and tq gain.

I have no reasons to believe that ITG, Green or any other filter would fare any better.

Just commenting on types of panel filters to our preference.

I have to agree, I didn't expect any gains. Just advising that I think the Jetex PF was a good purchase.

You simply can expect to spend only 50 or so quid and see any gains with an Audi.
