brake pads rear

fitted new genuine rear brake pads (approx 600 miles ago) when i look at them through the wheel they dont seem to be sitting flat on the disc,they are wiping the disc,just not sitting flat,any idea's?

this is unlikely unless you have a seized piston as when you apply the brakes the pad will be forced onto the disc. Did you thoroughly clean the the pad guides?

I fitted new front pads to my old A4 and they never sat flat - Apparently they are this was to stop brake squeel.... Could be the same...

dont think there seized ,cant be working then an hour later when fitted with new pads both calipers seize.

then maybe the pad guides have got a build up in them, the pad should definately fit flat onto the face of the disc.
