Na, don't see what all this Porter Cable stuff is all about.

Menzerna 1210Tech? Absolutely. And they keep running out of the stuff!!!!
But then you're reassured there's someone in a German factory making your next bottle with your name on it.

They struggle with the demand for paint polishes to keep up with the mad car enthusiasts who have hijacked a woodworker's tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Makes you feel kinda special actually.
I can hear them swearing on the production line with their shortened lunch breaks and all.

I've been thinking about one of these for a while but don't you have to buy a lot of other equipment to ensure you're able to use it in the UK?
Unmolested Ming blue S3 (so it doesn't handle or stop very well), Bose, sunroof and centre armrest but no heated seats - Gone but not forgotten although I am enjoying the new 350CLK!

Ordered mine this morning with the extra 4inch sfx pads and a 3.5inch sfx backing plate plus some extra bits and bats, so cant wait for my new toys to arrive. i suppose were all critical in the way we want our motors to look and its down to giving ourselves the credit in ensuring our motors are maintained both mechanically and looks wise to very high standards. if only everyone took pride in their cars.

The basic kit comes with one of each basic SFX pad. I ordered, like pav, extra pads inc. 4in spot pads. I've since added some Meguiars pads for use on softer Honda paint. This is true for any machine polisher.

What you are talking about perhaps is the need for a 230V/110V transformer. Yes, you need this. I just hired mine at 6.50 a day as I didn't want to fork out another 50, I'd rather spend it on products I'm going to use more regularly like internal and external dressings and soome amazing air freshs/deods.

    Cheers

I bought my transformer 2 nd hand from a guy on Detailing world, its worth checking out your local hire store as they often clear out equipment.
Youll also need an extension cable and to re wire the plug, all the info you need is on Detailing world
