A4 Avant (B6) Roof Box etc

Not sure if anybody can help, but has anyone successfully fitted a roof box to an A4 Avant leaving enough room to fit 2 kayaks (or similar) on either side.

I want to try and carry the kayaks as well as getting a bit more storage space, without having to go to an A6.

Or are there any other ideas for additional storage ???

Anyway, any help appreciated

you could try contacting thule and seeing what they say. I would have thought it was possible, they do do a narrow box and kayaks don't take up that much room.

I have an A4 Avant and have a roof box made by Farad. It's just over 400 litres, and sits nicely in the middle if the bars with quite a bit of room left over. It's one of the thinner ones. It also looks fantastic on as it's metallic black, the same as my car! Hope that helps a bit
