Saturday was a busy day.....had my new brakes fitted at PSI Tuning (cheers Andy). I was then left with a full day to try out all my new cleaning stuff. Had loads of help from beddie and fat gaz, new guillmor works great, car had a full claybar and wax not to mention hours of detailing, Alu frame was polished, soft top cleaned (looks like new now), leather conditioned, alloys look like new again and then before I get chance to go somewhere and take some pics ......

IT'S BACK TO WINTER AGAIN!!! :wtf: RAIN RAIN RAIN....

lol how long have you got..........:tapedshut:

I cant talk as I used to have a N**A, we live and learn!!

Stevey, did you use the Autoglym on your hood ? How did the Alu suround Polish go ?

GFORCE,

ended up buying "RENEVO SOFTOP CANVAS CLEANER" (£12.95from elite car care) really easy to use, wet the hood, paint on with a brush, leave for 20 mins then using a firm brush (I used a dish cleaning brush) rub firmly. You can see the grime and algae leaving the fabric. then rinse clean, my top looks better than new now!!

as for the frame i did try stuff called "belgom alu cleaning polish" but after use it looked no different so I used meguiars metal polish, then the belgom stuff (it seals the alu with a wax) my frame came up really shiny and looking at other a4 cabs it really stands out!

btw how do you find your car now it's rollin on 19's, looks awesome but is the ride bone shattering??

No mate, to be fair its fine. It's slightly harder on a normal road surface and you can certainly feel the pot holes now. Everyone said it looks spot on with the std T-sport ride hieight but Coilovers are on the way to drop it low for the summer

You thinking about new rims then Stevey ?

P.S. thanks for the info on the Alu stuff dude

seriously your going on coilovers? crazy but sounding good!

I think this is the only set of standard alloys I have ever taken a shine too.... might change but not just yet, every man an his dog seems to have rs4 reps so as much as I like em, not going there!!.

had polished an painted wheels on my leon from california..... they lasted 12 months..... never again,

love bbs ch's but not right for my car..... hmm staying standard (for now)
