BRAKE PAD FITTMENT ADVICE

Rear and front pads need replacing soon,any special tools needed to do the rear's or is it as easy as the front?

Also is it an allen key job or a socket set?

fronts are easy but you will need a special tool to wind in the piston on the rears.

standard socket set will be fine to do the fronts

I used a G-clamp and a pair of vicegrips, It would be easier with the tool, you can get them on ebay...always handy for the future...

Fronts are easy..

G-clamp and vice grips is how I've done it in the past too - the genuine VAG wind-back tool is pretty pricey, although you can get generic ones from Halfrauds
