I've had a set of Michelin tyres on for 12 months and have checked tyre wear. The centres have worn 2mm but the outer edges only 0.8 to 1mm. I have a digital depth gauge, that's why I'm going to .0 of mm.

Should wear be more on the centre? My car is a 1.9TDi with 205/55 16 tyres which are always kept at 2.3 bar or 34psi as specified by Audi. This is always set cold first thing in a morning when I check pressure. My gauge is accurate too.

Does anyone elses wear more in the middle? Any thoughts appreciated.

Cheers

all that would say to me is that they are overinflated, sorry.
I don't think it can be the tracking you would get uneven wear.
Mine are 235 x 45s and they are 34psi too

Cheers for the reply. I would have thought that 235/45 would require a higher pressure than my size. I'll drop a couple of pounds and try that.

Thanks
