dis... on my A4 TDI 130..reads 445 miles when the tank is full to the brim,are we all getting this reading?

I get anything from 550 to 600 on my B6 TDi 130 Avant, had it at 720 once. It all depends what sort of driving you do. Mine is mainly motorway. 76 hours of driving reads 47mpg, with average speed 42mph.

my reading usually says 640 when full, but get about 500 as mostly town driving. last year crossing a very flat part of france at 55mph (following 2 cars with caravans) my reading to plus miles done was over 1000! although that droped very quickly when we were on our own again!

If i remember right last time I gave mine a full tank it was reading 455. But nailing it up to newcastle n back I done 310.

how much diesel do you guys use up when you do around 100 miles? (130bhp) i seem to top up 15 quid for 104 miles at 86.9 pence per litre. (local driving) this seem ok?

Should be about £10 to 100 miles, so you're either driving very aggressively, or pretty much all town driving.

ive had allsorts of different readings....some from 530 up to 590. How does this thing work it out?? does anyone elses stay on the same reading for ages, then suddenly drop? within the 500+ miles read-out it stays like that for ages, but when it goes into the 400+ mile range, it drops sooooooooo quick. And yes its mostly town-driving (pain in the @rse)

mine is all local town driving.

on a run ive just returned 180 miles on 15.90 at 90.9 pence per litre,it ok on a run...i think!

I do miss the S3 but I lkie the 5-600 miles on the DIS when I fill up the Avant :icon_thumright:

First fill up on the Avant (1.8T 190) and it was reading 400 miles. I've done 120 odd since then and it's still reading 325.

Warning light on as i started up, gently gently for 40 miles to petrol station. £60 quid later into the 130 TDi and its reading 680. Most I have seen is 745 - mostly all steady motorway cruising.
