Does anyone who goes out on the occassional outing, take out track-specific insurance?

I've just got a quote for a day - YES 1 DAY - at Brands (GP circuit) for the staggering sum of £229, in the S4 Avant...

Anyone have any more contacts ?

Rumour has it that at Oulton Park there is a recovery truck that will pick you up after an off and deposit you in a ditch a few miles away - for a small fee.

I race my 200bhp Vortx racing car for £10 a day insurance, through day-insure!!

and RAC, will pick you if you crash the car even on the track as long as you tell them you are racing that day
