Brake Trouble! Please Help!?

Hello

Well i went to get in my car today (2002 audi a4 2.5tdi) and i set off as usual and as soon as i pressed to brake pedal the brakes jammed, now i can lift the pedal from underneath to release the brakes but it will not release itself

any ideas?

Sounds to me like something is sticking, either on the pedal or one of the calipers. Does the pedal move freely?

Sounds like the servo is faulty or the linkage is sticking

ouch, sorry to hear that. Its strange because you dont hear of servo's going do you.....do you?

Sounds like the servo is faulty or the linkage is sticking
