A4 Suspension problem

I have a 2002 A4 1.9Tdi.

At the last service I was told that I needed a new front suspension arm (pass front). I must admit when turning right at speed it does feel like the left front is biting more as sometimes the car will kick out at the back and try to oversteer.

Is this a sign or a suspension problem or am I just imagining it as I was told I needed a new sus. arm on that side
