A4 RETRO FIT SAT NAV

ALLRIGHT,
THIS IS MY 1ST POST, RECENTLEY PURCHASED MY 1ST AUDI 2.5 TDI QUATTRO SPORT 02/02, AND WAS WONDERING WHAT I WOULD NEED TO FIT RNS-E UNIT, THE FELLA I BOUGHT IT FROM AT EDINBURGH AUDI SAID AS I HAVE THE STORAGE COMPARTMENT UNDER THE CLIMATE UNIT A SAT NAV WOULD NOT FIT, IM NOT SO SURE.
WOULD APPRECIATE SOME HELP FROM YOU EXPERTS. THANKS

He was right to some extent mate, in that its not a straight swap unless you have a double din head unit.
Thats not the end of it though and loads of people on the forum have retro fitted the RNS E. I'm not sure whats involved but try http://www.tclsatnav.com/ who is a member on here and has fitted some for other members.
