Red Diode not flashing

hello

yesterday i had all four door speakers upgraded by a local guy, tonight i noticed that when i lock the doors the alarm red diode on the drivers door isnt coming on, and usually the indicators flash once when the door is locked, this isnt happening either,is it possible the guy has disconnected something behind the door whilst he had the panells off????

It usually means one of the doors is open or the alarm thinks it is,I had this when i had a broken wire to the front door.Quite common on A4's i think.

so it could be a broken wire????

Could be,mine broke in the rubber that goes from the front passenger door to the car.Speaker wires broke also.
