measuring blocks?? a4 tdi

anybody tell me how to do a measuring block test using vagcom? i think cars overfuelling as theres a strong smell of diesel fumes coming from the exhasust and i think it may be tempreature sensor(so ive been told) unless you have any other idea's A4 TDI 130 AWX ENGINE 2001 (B6)

The fuel smel is more than likely coming from either a leaking fuel filter (from the drain plug on the bottom), fuel cooler (under drivers side front sill) or a fuel tank sender seal ( under rear seat area) all easy to spot. Hope this helps
