Air Mass Failure

hi guys went out last night on my way home the engine management fault came on.I checked most the forums on here and they mostly the temp guage sensor,then i was thinking maybe its the same problem since my guage is playing up.This morning went to see someone who works for the stealers and he plug in his computer and three faults came up.1) Air vaccum,Air mass and something else.He said it will cost me a couple of hundred to get it fix.Has anyone else have the same issue. a4 1.8t sport
