NEW A4 owner looking for some advice

Hi All,

I just bought an Audi A4 1.9TDI, Im looking to add a GMBH kit to it but im having problems in getting one. Does anyone know where i can get one from. Also when braking there is a clunking noise coming from the rear what could this be.

Try Vagparts www.vagparts.com but be warned they are not cheap.

Failing that try E Bay you get some front and rear bumpers every now and then.

Or you could try the Votex kit which is stuck on and a bit cheaper.

I reckon it looks better too. Providing you have got your original front bumper behind sprayed a dark colour.

This is about 2 grand but is the best looking after market kit in my opinion.

As for the clunking noise have you strapped your kids in!

Hi,

I have a 2004 1.9TDi Sport with Gmbh kit on; I would recommend this or the Vortex kit which looks a bit more 'aggressive'

Your best bet would be to buy the parts (try ebay or www.audi-accessories.co.uk) and then find a decent garage who fill respray and fit these on!

As John has mentioned; it could end up costing you anything from 1k to 2k!

I would say ebay,it cost me less than £500 for the kit and paint,i fitted it myself.Its not the kit you want but its a cheaper option and rarer.
