Hi there, Im new to this forum and am wondering if anyone is able to help me.
I have a 52 plate Audi A4 2.0 FSI Avant, and to date have been pleased with it.
However, now when I go to accelerate from a junction occasionally there is no power at all, the car idles a bit and then dies. If you try and start it straight away the engine will turn but will quickly die again.
The car is now stuck in a garage and they have no idea what to do with it, seems like they have another car there with the same problem. He has managed to pull the error codes off it and they are 17428 and P1020. He doesnt seem to think its the MAF or Coils.
I have searched on the net and just cant find any reference to them.
Please can someone help me, last time this happend I got stranded in the middle of the roundabout and I cant drive the car anymore with this problem.
