Been looking at wiring a cd changer into my boot with aftermarket HU. Have taken side panel of at glovebox and noticed that there is a cable fixed in to side of glovebox but its not connected to anything.

Any one any idea what its for?

No dont think its that - originally thought it was a lead for a cd changer but surely it wouldnt be clipped inside that panel, or would it?

Do you have the lock fitted to turn off the passengers air bag? It sits beside the CD player it could possibly be the cable for that?
