Avant boot open!!!

Guys,

Last night I was checking that the car was locked up before retiring for the night. I found that the car was locked but the red led on the driver's door was not flashing, it turned out that he boot was open. This has happened a couple of times recently! The keys were not stored near the car so I don't believe that the boot release button had been pressed accidentally.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Hello mate.

I've had this happen many times on my saloon. I've always put it down to the boot release button accidentally being pressed. The car sits on my drive so when i'm home the keys are always within range (and they have quite an impressive range).

Sometimes I've found the windows half down too which I've put down to the same problem. I wouldn't think it's anything to worry about. I always take my keys out my pocket when I get in now and put them somewhere out of reach of the kids. Doesn't seem to happen so often! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
