Just bought a 2002 A4 2.5TDi Quattro Sport Tip (or Multitronic?)
My first Audi and first diesel.
Still under sellers 1 month warranty and having a problem with the gear selector display.
When the car is cold i.e. first thing in the morning I turn on the ignition and the gear selector display is all red as oppose to just the P being red. I let the engine run for a minute then turn the ignition off then on and only the P is lit and the car drives OK. The car has been to the local Audi "specialist" in Aberdeen and they said it was the ATF fluid and filter that needs changed, this was done and the next day the same thing is still happening.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem. Help.
