Aftermarket stereo fitting

I've recently got an a4 b6 avant but wanted to change the stereo for a GPS Bluetooth double din unit and wondered if you need a fitting kit or will the new stereo's facia and cage fit ok with no gaps ? If not does anyone know where to get a kit from ?

Yes it has the audi symphony stereo but it looks as tho it tapers slightly towards the bottom ?
