After a day of heavy rain yesterday I went out to my car this morning (A4 B6) only to find that the headlining was soaking wet (about 9 inches all the way across) together with about 0.5 inch of water in the drivers footwell, upon closer inspection I found that the thin rubber strip at the top of the windscreen where it meets the roof was split and badly perished and not fitted properly and was letting water in you could see the water had run down the o/s screen pilar and into the footwell does anyone know if you can buy that thin rubber strip on it's own or is it part of the windscreen and If I was to buy a new screen would it come with this rubber.

Any help would be appreciated just thought I'd ask before the next heavy downpour arrives

Thanks :sm4:

If you can't get it fixed soon I'd run a bead of silicon sealant along it just to stop any more water getting in and causing any damage
