induction

Forgive me, I'm sure this has already been done a thousand times but, I cant seem to find the answer.

Looking to fit an induction kit on my A4 1.8T 190.
But I hear this can be problematic, as lack of space?

Anyone done it?

Had a look into this before as I have same engine and it seems that the standard airbox and filter was very good. From want I read I seems uprated panel filters and induction kits made no more hp than standard,just more noise!

The ones fitted with a 12v pc cooling fan make an awesome difference. About 15bhp!!

Surely you mean an "electric supercharger" lol

This is sort of to do with induction... My standard plastic intake doesn't seem to sit right? It has gaps in all the joints, plus when I start the car it from the intake it sounds load then about 10seconds later it goes quite?????

Yeah realise they don't really improve anything....
But I wouldnt mind a slightly better sound?

You would only hear it sucking air in, induction noise i think isn't as prominent like you'll find on NA cars
