Hi,

as per title, the flex pipe just after the cat on my exhaust started blowing on Saturday.

As a very temporary thing I've gummed it and wrapped it, then gummed it again and it's held up for 2 days, amazingly! I didn't expect it to work at all.

Just wondered on the best way of getting it done more permanently. I can get welding etc done easily enough.

what have other people done in this situation ?

Cheers guys.

Tom

Either replace the pipe or buy the correct size flexi, cut out the old one and weld in a new one.

Does the pipe unbolt from the cat ?

not its welded onto the cat (if its a tdi 1.9) quite a bit of hassle for just replacing the flexi you could prob pick up another cat off ebay for less

Mines a 1.8tq bex... I'll have a proper look at it tomorrow, maybe stick a few pics up and see what people can suggest.

arr ok ignore the above then lol yes take pic as they say it speaks and 1000 words
