Hi

I recently had fitted a RNSE to my cab,
and all was fine ish,

last week tho, the display went off, (black)
another trip it was on.

have noticed this a few times now,

so any ideas / suggestions on the cause and fix ??

thanks

PS,

also been having radio issues,
garage told me the aerial adaptor is not the best, it keep becoming loose, ??
can any one suggest a better quality adaptor ?? or a fix for this?

Sounds like as well as the aerial adapter being "iffy" you might have an iffy wiring connection too (which cause the power to the RNS-E to disappear).

A full VCDS scan would show intermittent connections on the Infotainment CAN bus if that's the case...

would the display go off with a loose connection? the power stays on, buttons lit up, and the music still comes,
its just the display. ??

You didn't mention in your original post that it was only the display that goes off :keule:

Sounds like either the backlight or, more likely, the flat ribbon cable that connects the backlight to the main motherboard is iffy.
