Apologies if this has been gone over before, I have searched and only came up with bits & pieces of what I need to know!
My b6 a4 quattro 2.5 (180 ake) stripped the belt & knackered the engine, even though I'm a mechanic I'm not even going to attempt to rebuild it as I don't have the time & I've picked up a complete a6 2.5 (160 afb) cheap enough that I won't need to...
I'm aware i'll need to swap the fuel pump over to donor engine as it's coded, I'll check all sensors etc on the engines to ensure the wiring will fit, I know the bigger hp ake has a different turbo & injectors, what I don't know is whether it's as simple as just swapping them over? Is there anything else I need to change/look out for?
