I thought I had noticed this a few weeks back but put it wasn't as pronounced as yesterday. On the motorway yesterday in 6th gear (I mostly do motorway miles back and forth to Lincoln and Liverpool) I put my foot down to accelerate as the road cleared after a traffic jam, and at about 2000 rpm there was a noticeable hesitation, which cleared almost straight away and the car accelerated normally. When I noticed it last time I was at motorway speed.

My car is a 2004 has only done 85000 miles, full history, timing belts etc all done.

I've read a few threads which say turbo vanes, or EGR or MAF. I haven't had chance to check the codes yet, as I doubt there will be any. I've looked at the EGR before this and it looks a nightmare to remove. As the miles are low I had already thought about giving it a clean.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks, I'll have a look at blanking, but I've heard different stories with regards to EML's.
