DIS on the b6

OK took my newly purchased avant s-line for a longer drive today and noticed that the DIS is different to the b7 I had before, noticeably the single journey trip mileage feature was missing.

Is there a hidden menu somewhere, or is it programmable on VCDS?

I can cycle through average mpg, miles left, time on journey current and total

On the mk5 I had before I could access a menu within the DIS

i believe there's 2 options you can chose from when coding the DIS.

As above......it's part of the coding to have long or both long and short journeys

In VCDS, one of them turns on only the long term trip computer (DIS1 I think) and the other turns on both DIS1 and DIS2 trip computers which are short term and long term.........could be wrong but that is the way I understood it.

Hi yes on the b6 I get

- average mpg
- instant mpg
- miles left
- time on journey

I get DIS 1 and DIS 2 and a blank screen when cycling through

On the b7 i got trip distances on the DIS1 and DIS2 and a menu to set the clock and change to km- maybe an upgrade on the DIS?
