front suspension set ups/differences? b5/b6

ive spent 40 mins trawling threads and some say theyre the same and other say theyre different..

my mate had a b5 and bought everything to rebuild the front end (all suspension arms/nuts/bolts) then wrote off the car, he's offered me them at a decent price but im looking to find out if they'll fit before i hand over the cash.

does anyone know for sure?

Pretty sure the front lower arm Is different.

Easiest way I'd to add all the bits you need to your basket on Euro car parts for the b5. Then the b6 and compare.

If you'd like any further info just let me know - I work for ZF (which owns the brand Lemforder).
Lemforder is OE for Audi, especially on Multi-Link steering and suspension.
