Odd noise

Had my car in for oil filter change and dv installed on my fwd 1.8t.

Been driving it today with the windows down as it's hot and I keep hearing a funny "warrring" sound similar to tyre rubber the arches etc. but mine do not rub as I am on std 17s and can't feel any vibration.

I mainly hear it slower speeds and moving off.

Any ideas???

Makes it intermittently. Just done it while driving up a hill.

Do you still have the under tray fitted? Id check to see that it is secured fully as it would have to be removed when changing the DV.

Yeah under tray still fitted. It's going back sat for the temp housing to be replaced. So will ask them to check.

Could this be the passenger arch liner vibrating? As I have rust bubbles starting to appear.
