The 1.8Ts seem to be quite resilient to high mileage.
When I broke my Ibiza Cupra for parts @ 110k I could still see the original hone marks in the cylinder bores, rings were fine, no obvious wear I could make out in the head or bottom end!

My Fiesta ZS 1.6 however, was good and properly worn @ 95k after regular servicing & tlc.

Not as good as me 8L (235000) an me 306hdi (225000), but seen Audis way beyond this, sure the is someone on the 8L sectin who has 350plus

I got 40 after 0 miles. So there is a good reserve after 0,not recommended thou,it was like PHEW i made it. I remember filling to brim to see how empty i was. 75 litre tank,i filled 74!!!

Yeah I wouldn't go more than 5-10miles past zero, only if I reeeeally had to!
