Stereo mystery

Hi all, over the past few days i have run into some problems with my stereo that are driving me insane. Since i bought the car, i have had a ringing from my the d/s speakers so i decided to tackle it by checking the wiring at the speaker and head unit end. Speaker end was like new and the head unit (after market from previous owner) looked fine then the ringing stopped whilst messing around with the wires. Closed the door and its back... couldn't find a loose connection at all then the rear speakers and internal lights stopped working. I replaced the fuse and all is fine apart from the speakers and im guessing its the amp as they are driven via the amp.

What now?

Just a suggestion but how about checking drivers door loom they are very bad for broken wires. Hope this helps.

Yeh, because it stopped when I shut the drivers door (sounds comical), il do this over the next few days!
