Picked up my new car yesterday A4 1.9 130 and love it :D

It's got the audi navigation plus in but says it needs a disk? i've noticed it has the sd slots aswell... How can i get hold of the software for this to work?

Also when i put a micro SD into a SD adapter it just says reading forever and ever! and never loads. is this because the software cd is not in? literally just the Radio works....

If it's got the SD card slots then that's an RNS-E.

Map DVDs are always on eBay, but make sure you get a genuine Audi one and not a copy - copies are harder to read, especially in cold weather. The only time I've used a copy it wouldn't read in cold weather leaving me without nav for the first 15 minutes or so of starting on cold mornings.

You don't need the nav disk in for the SD card slots to work, but you MUST use an SD card and not an SDHC card and it must be FAT32 formatted. Plus the path lengths (file + folder name) must be less than 64 characters long, and the limit of files plus folders is 512.
