Lifting of extra boot storage doesn't work (Convertible)

Since owning the car I am working my way through the problems.

One of them is the roof storage bit that can lift up for extra storage doesn't work and in the lower position.

Today I stopped the roof with the boot bit in the up position and I could see the cable but it looks like where it should be clipped to its broken.

Anyone got pictures of how it should look or how to repair it?

Where about is this? It's a bit close up

That is South the roof half up....ie the boot cover in the up position.

Then standing at the passanger side picturing the join between the storage bit that comes up and the edge of the boot bit that doesn''t move.
