part no. help needed please. A4 Cabriolet Windscreen trim, exterior ?

Hi guys,
I need a little help,
Audi seem stuck them selves too.

I have lot the trim at the top of the windscreen on my A4 Cab,
the first bit audi ordered was wrong, and just like a foam strip.
It is the black edging trim that clips in to finish it off.

The black edging is bonded to the alloy surround ... Not available on its own
I needed the drivers side 1 for mine Audi wanted £200 plus per section !!
I managed to source 1 from EBay for £30

not really looking to spends hundreds here, its only a strip of black plastic trim !! ??
Not the metal/aluminium part ,

The strip of black plastic comes with the aluminium trim it's not available on its own !

Im guessing i dont need to actually replace the whole aluminium panel though ?
Im am assuming the black strip separates from it, ?

im assuming it separates because one, its come off, and two it would need to come off to replace the windscreen,
any one know how they fix in ??

Think you take the alloy surround off to replace screen !

Hello dude, I don't know if this is relevant but it may help.

Just before crimbo I had a new windscreen fitted by Autoglass and he broke one of the side trims trying to remove it. They sorted replacements FOC and were fitted the following day. Excellent service and a bang tidy job!

Perhaps they could source specific parts you're after? Well worth a try mate.
