No remote locking after battery failure?

I had a full failure of the battery after leaving the car for a week without using and a cold snap finishing it off. It turns out to be a cheap battery of which I have now replaced with a Bosch item.

Everything is ok apart from now I have no remote locking. The central locking works ok when turning the key in the driver’s door and also, the alarms is armed but when pressing the buttons no locking or unlocking and no remote boot control.

Does anyone have any good ideas o experience this before?

Just searched the forum, gonna try the in the ignition, lock/unlock method.

Been havin same probs with mine mate.Alarm went off the other night and when I went out to the car neither key would work.Tried to resync keys as it says in the manual and also on this forum but didnt work for me.
Hope you have better luck.

Had the same thing and needed a new central control unit as the cumt fitting it basically some how did it wrong and ruined the car, £500 fix for a simple battery change.
